Babajob Wins Mobile Peer Awards

Babajob beat out Mob4hire and Aka-Aki in the final jury selection to win both the community and jury awards at Monday night's Mobile Peer Awards in Barcelona.

Babajob is described as an Indian combination of Monster and LinkedIn for the informal job sector. It lets employers looking for service workers like cooks, maids, drivers and construction workers post listings targeting specific villages. Babajob is both a job site and social network - optimized for mobile platforms because many of its job seekers access the web primarily through their mobile phones.
